Based on economic and personal need, each month the Discovery! Scholarship Committee awards combined tuition scholarships for Discovery! ONE, Discovery! TWO, and Discovery! THREE. 

The scholarship applicant must:

• Have an annual, household income of $50,000.00 or less
• Agree to attend Discovery! ONE, Discovery! TWO, and Discovery! THREE
• Complete and sign the Scholarship Application and provide the required supporting document
• Agree to pay Discovery! a tuition of $95 for each class attended
• Agree to pay for all travel, hotel, and meal expenses associated with attending Discovery!

Scholarship Rules

Cindy Morgan, the Discovery! Scholarship Chair, must receive all Scholarship Applications no later than the scholarship application deadline date. Any Scholarship Applications received after the deadline application date will be processed for the following month.

Scholarships are awarded no later than two weeks after the application deadline date by the Discovery! Scholarship Committee.

We will hold your application for 3 months.  If you have a particular month you would like to attend please notify me as soon as possible.  If after 3 months you decide you would like to apply again, you will need to fill out the application and provide all documentation.

If the Scholarship Recipient is a “no show” on the date he agrees to attend, the recipient forfeits his scholarship and no future scholarship will be awarded. If the Scholarship Recipient fails to complete Discovery! ONE, Discovery! TWO, or Discovery! THREE, the Scholarship Recipient forfeits his scholarship and no future scholarship will be awarded.

Should you be receiving a tuition, hotel and/or food contribution(s) from family or friends, please inform the office the name and contact information of your Contributor(s).  Note: Hotel and food ARE NOT covered by Discovery! tuition fees. Also, hotel and food ARE NOT covered by tuition fees paid by Discovery! Scholarships or Discovery! Adopt-A-Trainee.

How to Apply

1. Print, complete, and sign the Scholarship Application.
   
   
2. Attach a copy of 1st and 2nd pages of the Scholarship Applicant’s most recent Federal Tax Return.
   
   
3. Mail or scan and e-mail the completed Scholarship Application and attached Federal Tax Return pages to the Discovery! Scholarship Committee Chair, Cindy Morgan.
